KAT-TUN "CHAIN" 1st In Oricon

KAT-TUN、1年8ヶ月ぶり新作が初日首位

人気グループ・KAT-TUNのニューアルバム『CHAIN』（22日発売）が、発売初日に5.0万枚を売り上げ、2/21付オリコンデイリーアルバムランキング首位に初登場した。

前作『NO MORE PAIN』（2010年6月発売／累積売上：19.0万枚）以来、1年8ヶ月ぶりとなる本作は、「CHANGE UR WORLD」（2010年11月発売／累積売上：26.7万枚）から最新曲「BIRTH」（2011年11月発売／累積売上：22.9万枚）までのシング ル5作品を含む全17曲を収録する。

KAT-TUN は、1stアルバム『Best of KAT-TUN』（2006年3月発売／累積売上：75.0万枚）から5作連続で首位を獲得。チェッカーズ、光GENJI、KinKi Kidsと並び「オリジナルアルバムの1stからの首位獲得数」の最多記録（グループからのソロを除く）を保持している。
